RCS Staff Bios

 

Bob Rehak

 

Bob Rehak, President, founded Rehak Creative Services in 1994. Since then, RCS has become one of the Southwest’s premier advertising agencies. Bob graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor and Master of Journalism Degrees in Advertising from Northwestern University. He later taught graduate courses in advertising there as an Assistant Professor. For two decades, he was also a creative director at leading agencies in Chicago, Dallas and Houston. His clients have included McDonald’s, Shell, JPMorganChase, Compaq, EDS, Halliburton and many others. His awards include Best of Show at the Addys, Clios, Cannes Film Festival, International Broadcasting Awards and New York Art Directors Club. He was twice voted “Copywriter of the Year” by Adweek Magazine and his John Cleese Campaign for Compaq Computer Corporation was voted Campaign of the Decade by the Houston Advertising Federation. His trade book, Greener Marketing and Advertising: Charting a Responsible Course (Rodale Press, 1993) has gone through three printings and been translated into Japanese. He is Vice Chairman of the Kingwood Service Association’s Parks Committee, plus an ardent environmentalist, photographer, husband, father and dog owner, not necessarily in that order.

Kathy Czubik

 

Kathy Czubik, Office Manager/Traffic Manager/Proofreader, has been the glue that holds RCS together for more than fourteen years. She was born and raised in Detroit, where she attended Marygrove College and worked for GM for eight years. She worked for two years at both the L'Anse Creuse School District, Harrison Township, in Michigan and the Humble ISD in Houston. She, her husband and four children moved to Houston in 1991. Kathy makes sure all of our work gets to the right people at the right place at the right time. During her tenure at RCS, she has helped us meet more than 10,000 deadlines without missing one. She also makes sure every invoice is delivered, every bill paid, every “t” crossed, and every paycheck signed.

Chris Daigle

 

Chris Daigle, Associate Creative Director, graduated from the Art Institute of Houston with Honors. After graduating, he found work at Ultra magazine, Pegasus Design and Idea Advertising where he worked on projects for Stewart Title, Hylsamex Steel, Sigma Foods, Pogo Producing, Daniel Industries, The Sticky Wicket Restaurant and more. He and his wife have two dogs who are as spoiled as any children could be.

Jennifer Gleason

 

Jennifer Gleason, Associate Creative Director, has been with RCS for thirteen years. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors. She has won numerous awards, including local, regional and national Addys and Summit Awards. She has worked on projects for EDS, Landmark Graphics, Halliburton, SMA, the Westchase District, and many others. She currently works with RCS from Calgary while tending two kids, two cats, one dog and one husband.

Stephen McFarland

 

Stephen McFarland, Copywriter and Interactive Programmer, graduated from the University of Texas in 2006 with both a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics.  Upon graduation, he worked as a freelance writer and photographer for local and niche publications.  Since joining the RCS team in 2007, he has worked on projects for many clients including EDS, Halliburton, The Westchase District, CompuCom, and SMA. Outside of work, he enjoys photography, programming electronics, and tinkering with his 1966 VW Bug.

Mike Meyers  

Mike Meyers, Creative Director, is a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston. Mike has 20+ years of experience working for several Texas design and advertising firms. Until recently, he was principal at Meyers Design.  Clients he’s worked with include Shell Chemical Company, Texas Commerce Bank, Compass Bank, Fiesta Marts, VALIC, HiLo Auto Parts, Russell & Smith Ford/Honda, AMG Publishers, Stevens / FKM Public Relations, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Caribbean Star Airlines, Motorola, Mercantile Bank, Lamar University, Baptist Healthcare System and many others.  Mike is a proud husband and father of four who is very active in his church.

Sue Ridder

 

Sue Ridder, Senior Account Manager, graduated from Bridgewater College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Upon graduation, she was a chemist for Qualchem, Inc for two years. For the next nine years, she worked as a Marketing Specialist for Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield of Virginia. She, her husband and three boys moved to Texas in 2000 after he accepted a position here. After she arrived, she joined EDS as a Marketing Specialist. Sue has worked for RCS since 2002. Sue resides in the Dallas area and works primarily on the case study accounts.

Mardi Gras

 

Mardi Gras is our corporate canine and receptionist. She greets every visitor to RCS at the front door. Her other responsibilities include keeping squirrels away and ensuring that no leftovers remain uneaten. Bob adopted Mardi from the SPCA on Fat Tuesday in 2000. She’s the original party animal and holds the world's record for downing a double cheeseburger. She can inhale them in one bite.
