RCS helps
make EcoBot
a success
On April 25, 2009, hundreds of middle school students from the 13-county Gulf Coast Region met at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center for the first annual All Earth EcoBot Challenge.
The EcoBot Challenge was designed to stimulate learning and creativity by asking students to solve real world environmental problems. Students had to create robots that reduced, reused and recycled. They also competed in a marketing challenge.
"After months of work, it was fun to see the outpouring of energy, enthusiasm and creativity. For these kids, the competition had all the drama of the Super Bowl," said Bob Rehak.
