The biggest sin of advertising is not getting noticed. All the money you spent on creative development, production, testing and media is wasted.
A corollary to this premise is, “Don’t spread yourself too thin.” On a small budget, it is better to have a large presence in one trade show than be invisible at several shows. To become a leader, you need to look like a leader.
Concentrate your dollars so that you can dominate any medium you choose. Sacrifice reach for impact. Getting noticed is the first step in getting the sale. |
